2010, Project Achieve Investment Rp 500 T

The Indonesian government projected an investment license for 2010 already reached Rp500 trillion.

"Overall 2010 was projected investment of Rp500 trillion over the already permitted. Only we see the realization, we must look toward the realization of the given permission," said Coordinating Minister for Economy, Hatta Rajasa, the office Jalan Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta, Tuesday (23 / 2 / 2010).

Interest in foreign investment into Indonesia is very high, especially Japan. Government's own target for Rp2000 trillion investment by 2014 to achieve economic growth of seven percent.

In 2009 then, the realization of investment-reach Rp160 trillion to Rp170 trillion in corporate foreign investment (FDI) and Domestic Investment (PMDN) in which the amount is relatively small due to the impact of the global crisis.

"Last year the realization of domestic and foreign investments were approximately Rp160-Rp170 trillion trillion, there have been weakening due to the crisis in the world," he said
