Eddy Silitonga Indonesia as a Cultural Ambassador 2010

Minister of Culture and Tourism Jero Wacik singer Eddy pointed Silitonga Indonesia as Cultural Ambassador in 2010, which will promote the national culture and tourism around the world by using land transportation.

Press releases from Eddy Silitonga in Jakarta, Tuesday (9/2/2010), said the trip will be conducted through 49 countries across five continents in the world, and will take more than nine months.

The plan was that the world tour will be held from 16 April 2010 until January 10, 2011, or retreat from the original schedule on February 14 until 10 November 2010. The delay was caused by a variety of preparations that have not matured.

According to Eddy Silitonga, the program consists of three main activities of singing in various places of travel, such as cafes, restaurants, hotels or people's stage.

Teams around the world to be named "Team for Indonesian Culture and Tourism Promotion by Eddy Silitonga" it will divide into two groups, namely "Journey Team" consisting of six people, including Eddy Silitonga, who traveled the world and "Supporting Team" that will monitor and support the logistical needs during the trip.

Both teams will be assisted by legal experts Todung Mulya Lubis and officials from the police Inspector General (Police), Agus Wantoro an advisory team to the program's success.

One of the members of Team Journey is a television cameraman who will cover the entire activities of the team for one week, and then the tape will be edited and broadcast in one of the national private television programs from the 30-minute duration.

Travel around the world will be using two types of vehicles that is one type of MPV and SUV type. One of the vehicles that will include outdoor LCD screen that will play movies about Indonesian culture and tourism during the trip.
