One person died during the two-day drowning floods hit Jakarta.

The floods that hit the capital for two days, leaving thousands displaced. Until, Saturday, February 13 evening, the number of refugees continues to grow.

"The number of refugees increased from 1039 to 1700 had been the soul for fear of an increase of the water at night," said the President's Special Staff Division of Social Assistance and Disaster, Andi Arif through short message to the AFP, Saturday (13/2/2010) evening.

Refugees, according to Andi, now has received support from various parties. But in some places, refugees still need help.

"In areas where refugee camps were still require assistance, especially for the children and the elderly," added Social GMU graduates this.

Heavy rains in Bogor Ciliwung river water causes that lead to Jakarta overflow. As a result, the flood was unstoppable. One person died by drowning during the two-day flood capital.
